Jackson Pollock (1912-1956)

You wove

your endless web

of dribbles

spills and drips

around the world,

until you dared

enter your own dark

circle of madness,

until the reach

of your genius-rage

was finally done,

until, at last,

you left your

spider-soul

unspun.
